In response to stakeholders’ requests, the Regulatory Reconciliation and Cooperation Table (RCT) has taken steps to enhance reporting and transparency on the implementation status of RCT Work Plan items. The RCT website now includes information detailing the progress by jurisdiction for each reconciliation Work Plan item, noting whether governments have fully implemented, or are in the process of implementing (including target dates for completion). This additional information provides increased transparency and makes it easier to track progress of these various Work Plan items.
The Reconciliation Agreement Implementation Status Report is available on the Reconciliation Agreements webpage.
The RCT was established through the Canadian Free trade Agreement in 2017 to oversee and support a process to reduce regulatory barriers to internal trade in Canada.
